Yulia Yelemesova

Yuliya Yelemesova, 36. Was born in Semipalatinsk and lives in Almaty. Works in corporate compliance and write fiction about memory, growing up and the search for one’s own voice. Her first novel, “The silence is the first to know”, was published by Drugoy Tekst, and one of her short stories was included in the first print anthology of “Aina”, a literary magazine for women writers. She is a resident of the USW writers’ community. Married and has two children.
